Hue City: Launching the craft product creation designing contest

TTH.VN - To make the highlight in the chain of activities at Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021, the organizing committee of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2021 has just launched the "craft product creation designing contest".

All of the production establishments, artisans, craftsmen, and artists all over the country can apply for participating in the competition and design the appropriate products

According to the contest regulations, contestants are artisans, craftsmen, and amateur and professional designers, as well as the organizations, Vietnamese citizens, foreigners living and working in Vietnam. The member of the organizing board and the jury are not allowed to participate in this competition.

The contents of the works registered to take part in the contests are required to be suitable to Vietnamese culture. Each individual or team can register with a maximum of 5 works.

The contest is divided into 2 boards, in which board A is for the creative design ideas that are made into products, and board B is for the creative design products shown in the form of drawings and blueprints.

The time of receiving products is from May 5, 2021 to June 6, 2021. The scoring time is from June 7, 2021 to June 9, 2021. After getting scores, the results will be announced by the organizing committee on June 10, 2021; the exhibition will be held from June 12, 2021 to June 18, 2021. The ceremony for awarding and honoring the winners will be on June 18, 2021.

In terms of the awards, there are 9 excellent prizes voted by the organizing committee, including 1 first prize worth 30 million VND; 3 second prizes worth 10 million VND each, and 5 third prizes worth 5 million VND per prize. Furthermore, there will be 3 audience selected prizes, each costs 5 million. These are the products voted by the audiences visiting the exhibitions or voted on fanpage facebook.com/festivalnghetruyenthonghue.
