Each piece is a unique and captivating perspective by artist Le Huu Long (36 years old, Hue City) on the heritages of Hue. Viewers can encounter the solemn yet magnificent Imperial City, the ancient and poetic scene of Tu Duc tomb, the moss-covered gates leading into the Hue Citadel, and the captivating stone horses and elephants in the ancient tombs and palaces. The artworks were all created using acrylic material in 2023 by the artist himself.
This is the first time that Le Huu Long has organized a solo exhibition in Hue, despite having had several solo and group exhibitions in various locations across the country. “The topic of Hue heritage has been cherished for a long time. And when the creative process is completed, I want to exhibit it in Hue - the land of culture and heritage; the place that has given me many emotions in both life and creative work,” Long shared.
The exhibition is open for free to the public until January 25th.
