Community Ao Dai Week 2024 to take place by the end of June

TTH.VN - On February 28th, the Department of Culture and Sports conducted a review meeting to prepare for the organization of Community Ao Dai Week 2024 and declared the timing to be from June 24th to 30th.

The week will feature 12 events and activities occurring continuously during the final week of Hue Summer Festival. Main activities will include pilgrimages and homage-paying ceremonies to Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, scientific seminars on the development direction of Ao Dai, Ao Dai dance performances, cycling in Ao Dai, exhibitions of Ao Dai on Vietnamese stamps, Ao Dai in artworks, and more.

In addition, there will be supporting activities taking place in Hue City, Huong Thuy town, and Phong Dien district. Particularly, Ao Dai Week in this year will feature exchange activities and collaborative performances between Ao Dai and Hanbok, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association.
