“Hue Ao dai Festival” to be held at Hue Festival 2020
TTH.VN - The Department of Culture and Sports has just announced that on the occasion of Hue Festival 2020, the Department will organize "Hue Ao Dai Festival".
Ao dai fashion show in Hue Festival
It is expected that the festival will include the following main activities: "Gratitude to the creators of the Vietnamese ao dai” - this is a thurifying ceremony to honor Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat and Emperor Minh Mang who have created the Vietnamese traditional ao dai; "Ao dai of the past and present " is the fashion show which is planned to take place on Truong Tien bridge, pedestrian bridge along the Huong River, Tinh Tam lake and Co Ha garden. This show aims to introduce the beauty of the ao dai worn by past noble ladies such as the menh phu ao dai, the nhat binh ao dai, etc., along with many styles of present day ao dai.
In addition, there will be a program to promote Hue women to wear ao dai during Hue Festival and in community events, especially among officials, public servants and female students in the province.
The Ao dai Festival of Hue is the innovation of festival activities in the direction of increasing the organization of community-based art and performance programs, thereby promoting the participation of local people.
