Hue is bustling ahead of the opening of Hue Festival Week 2024

TTH.VN - Hue International Art Festival Week 2024 will officially open on the evening of June 7th. As of now, the preparations have basically been completed, with the final stages being rapidly carried out.

With just one days left until the festival week officially begins, preparations at the main stages as well as community stages are nearly completed.

On the morning of June 5th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, visited and inspected Kien Trung Palace area inside the Imperial City. This site is the main stage, where the opening ceremony and other special art programs will be held throughout the week.

At this point, the construction of the main stage and grandstand system has been completed. Workers are currently handling the final steps as well as the decorating details before the rehearsal. After the inspection, Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong met and encouraged the logistical and support teams working inside the Kien Trung Palace stage.

Meanwhile, all central streets in Hue city are getting beautifully decorated with banners, posters, and billboards related to Hue International Art Festival Week 2024. Main information boards about the primary festivals and community activities have been put up along main streets to provide tourists and residents with convenient access to information.

Currently, all preparations for the main stage are overall completed. 
 Inside Kien Trung Palace, preparations for exhibitions and displays for visitors are also underway.
 The stage opposite Quoc Hoc High School on Le Loi Street, Hue City.
 The area for Flower Lanterns Festival on the Perfume River passing through Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion.
Workers are putting up lights along Le Loi street on the morning of June 5th.

Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.
