This representation reflects the four seasons of the festival, making it easy for viewers to identify the distinctive features of Hue's culture, deeply imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, and highlighting the cultural and artistic essence of Hue Festival.

The highlight of Hue Festival 2024 is the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, themed “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development,” scheduled to take place from June 7th to June 12th. According to the Organizing Committee, Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 builds on the legacy of previous Hue Festivals, connecting Hue in the present with hopes for a Hue in the future. It extends a warm invitation to all visitors to the Ancient Capital to enjoy new features, impressive festivals, and distinctive programs, and to experience the wonderful and unique aspects of the culture, history, and art of this heritage-rich region.

Previously, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2024 announced the official poster of Hue Festival 2024, which draws its main inspiration from the restored royal patterns on Kien Trung Palace. Recreated from the lines and colors of royal-style patterns, the poster's central symbol, featuring windows, represents the spirit of integration and exchange for development based on the Ancient Capital cultural heritage of Hue Festival.

Hue Festival 2024 holds special significance as Thua Thien Hue strives to soon achieve its goal of becoming a centrally governed city, grounded on preserving and promoting the values of the Ancient Capital's heritage and Hue's cultural identity. This includes its unique culture, heritage, ecology, scenery, environmentally friendly and smart city.

This event also provides an opportunity to intensively promote the value of Hue's cultural heritages, creating a strong spillover in the community, whose core is world heritage sites. The goal of preserving traditional values involves selecting, researching, and organizing the restoration of imperial architecture and recreating certain festivals associated with Hue's architectural heritage. Ngo Mon Bell, the Throne of Emperor Duy Tan, the Stone Relief under the reign of Emperor Minh Mang and the Dragon Statue under the reign of Emperor Thieu Tri are the four artifacts requesting National Treasure Recognition in 2024. The Stone Relief under the reign of Emperor Minh Mang is currently on display for close-up look at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities.
