Launch of research book on Hindu statues
TTH.VN - On the morning of December 15, many researchers, culturalists and book lovers attended the launching ceremony of the book "Hinduist statues: From Cham temples to Vietnamese religious establishments", organized at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center (15 Le Loi, Hue city) by the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Art Studies in Hue.
The book is evaluated to contain many precious documents
The book is co-authored by researcher Nguyen Huu Thong and his associates, and published by Thuan Hoa publishing house. This is a 10-year research work, contributing more documentation and perspectives on the issues of Vietnamese-Cham cultural contact and exchanges in the Central region’s rural life.

In this book, the readers will be able to find a variety of lively precious documents which reflect the research fieldwork in many villages from Quang Binh to Quang Nam, with 222 photographs of statues, religious establishments, shrines, pagodas, churches, etc.
