Hue is the only ancient capital in Vietnam to preserve intactly most of its royal art and architecture. Hue has a long history and culture. The inclusion of a cultural heritage education program in schools will help students better understand their local history and have pride in the nation’s traditions. This will help them to be conscious of protecting and preserving the cultural heritage.

The cooperation program will be carried out through: compiling various types of introductory materials about Hue cultural heritage for students; designing themes on learning history at Hue heritage area; developing activities for students at all levels to explore, discover and interact with different types of heritage; and organizing student contests on Hue heritage.

From now until 2022, the related units will deploy extracurricular activities aimed at learning about and discovering heritage; developing a set of teaching materials to find out about Hue cultural heritage. In the next phase, by 2025, the units will develop documents to introduce Hue cultural heritage and organize learning topics to learn about Hue cultural heritage.
