The “Hues of Hue in spring” Gala opens

The 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day with the theme “Hues of Hue in spring”

This is an activity to get into the spring and welcome Hue Festival 2024 of Huong Giang Poetry Association and Poetry Association of Hue land. In an opening speech, Chairman of Huong Giang Poetry Association, Le Viet Xuan, a poet, said that the constant thought and concern of poetry lovers in Hue was how to make Vietnam Poetry Day gain more attraction and spread further in life. According to Mr. Le Viet Xuan, people who love poetry and know how to write poetry are the ones “with a high humanity index.”

At the program, poets and poetry lovers recited and listened to seven poems, including: “Ram thang Gieng” (a poem by Ho Chi Minh), “Nguyen Tieu” (a poem by Le Thi Hong Lien), “Hue dau cua rieng ai” (a poem by Le Viet Xuan), “Xanh mien Ngu Huong” (a poem by Hoang Xuan Thao), “Hue mien di san” (a poem by Hong Trang), “Su Hue vao xuan” (a poem by Ho Giang Hai), and “Tam Giang” (a poem by Tri Duc). The poems look forward to a future full of hope for the good things of the Ancient Capital, towards the day Hue city becomes a centrally-governed city.
