Training performing skills for Hue Singing actors and musicians

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of November 11, the Department of Culture and Sports opened a training workshop to improve the quality of Hue Singing performances in 2019.

350 Hue Singing actors and musicians participated in the workshop.

From November 11 to November 30, the actors and musicians will learn about the legal provisions related to art performance activities and hosting skills. They will be trained to improve skills and performance of repertoire of theatrical songs and melodies of Hue Singing music, such as: Phẩm tuyết, Long ngâm, Cổ bản, Phú lục, Hành vân… The musicians must perform accompaniments with the musical instruments including Đàn tranh (16-chord zither), đàn tỳ (4-chord lute), đàn nguyệt (Vietnamese 2-chord guitar), đàn nhị (Vietnamese 2-chord fiddle), đàn bầu (monochord).

This training workshop is the synchronous implementation of solutions to improve the quality of Hue Singing activities according to the conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, it is carried out in order to improve the quality of Hue Singing performances to serve tourists, making Hue Singing a unique cultural tourism product.

Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, said: “After this training course, the Department of Culture and Sports will organize the appraisal and grant of a license to organize Hue Singing performances in accordance with the regulations of law. We will not grant licenses for programs with actors, musicians who cannot guarantee the quality of Hue Singing performances ".
