A performance of Hue Chamber Music on weekend nights at Hue city Center for Culture, Information and Sports
Accordingly, many cultural and artistic activities will be held from 18 pm to 22 pm on weekdays at Pham Ngu Lao – Chu Van An – Vo Thi Sau pedestrian streets, 3/2 Park (Ken house area), Tu Tuong Park, and at displaying area belonging to Hue city Center for Culture, Information and Sports, Nguyen Dinh Chieu pedestrian street, Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, Quoc Hoc Hue Memorial Stele yard, Nghinh Luong Dinh yard, Half-Moon bridge, Hue Imperial Citadel night street zone, and the walking path on the northern bank of the Huong River, etc.
The activities in the plan include performing calligraphy, folk games, Hue chamber music, performing traditional craft, traditional ao dai performance, street music, bamboo flute performance, living statues, portrait painting, prestidigitation, flash mob dance, unicorn dance, traditional music, and dance.
The plan is issued to establish and form various cultural and artistic spaces by night to attract tourists and local people, contributing to promoting Hue images, culture and people, as well as restoring and enhancing socio-economic development post COVID-19. At the same time, it is to create favorable conditions for music bands, clubs, artisans, and artists to show their artistic talents.
The activities will be run at the places set by the People’s Committee of Hue city from the beginning of the second quarter of 2022, after the adjustment of the Provincial People’s Committee for some COVID-19 control and prevention measures in the provincial area.
