Honoring 10 outstanding citizens of the province and rewarding at the State level for units and individuals

Provincial leaders awarded the title "Outstanding Citizen of Thua Thien Hue province" from 2020-2022

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized the emulation movement across the province in recent years; contributions of different units and individuals in all sectors; tireless efforts of the entire people of the province. Thereby, there have been many examples of "good people - good deeds". They all have noble qualities and great influence in society and have been honored, looked up to and followed by the society.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee called for Party committees, authorities, fronts, and mass organizations at all levels to better raise awareness and mobilization of all classes of people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, discovering and fostering more new factors, role models and outstanding examples to timely praise and honor. This will encourage and motivate the emulation movement, create influence, and inspire other role models.

On behalf of 10 outstanding citizens to be honored, Prof. Dr. Cao Ngoc Thanh emotionally shared about the process of living, studying, and working, thereby making certain contributions to the overall development of the province.

Under the authorization of the State President, provincial leaders awarded the Third-class Labor Medal to units and individuals

“This is a noble reward, a great encouragement of the Party and State for our small contributions. With responsibility before ourselves and the society, we will continue to promote our achievements, study hard and work hard to make more contributions to the province, especially in the context that the whole province is striving to become a centrally-governed municipality," Prof. Dr. Cao Ngoc Thanh confided.

On this occasion, 10 individuals were honored and awarded the title "Outstanding citizen of Thua Thien Hue province" from 2020-2022.

2 individuals were posthumously awarded the Third-Class Independence Medal; 1 individual was awarded the Second-Class Labor Medal; 4 units and 1 individual received the Third-class Labor Medal; 4 units and 9 individuals received the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit; 5 units received the Government's Emulation Flag; 4 individuals were awarded the title National Emulation Fighter.
