More than 250 athletes compete in Children's Team Chess Tournament

TTH.VN - On December 3, the provincial Youth Activity Center organized the Thua Thien Hue Province Children's Team Chess Open Tournament, competing for the Thien Bao Cup.

This year's chess tournament attracted 251 youth athletes from chess clubs inside and outside the province, competing in 7 groups for boys and girls from 6 to 11 years old, and an open group for all ages.

A representative of the provincial Youth Activity Center said that the chess tournament was an annual activity, aiming to create a healthy and useful playground, as well as opportunities for learning and exchange for children loving chess. Thereby, it aims to develop and replicate the movement of playing chess among students, discover and nurture talented individuals.
