Over 11.000 articles participating in the contest “Reading Culture Ambassador”

Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Phan Thanh Hai awarded prizes to the winners of national consolation prizes

This was a contest organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism nationwide, taking place during the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the preliminary round in Thua Thien Hue province facing various difficulties, the contest still attracted the participation of a large number of participants. The organizing board received over 11.000 articles of students from 81 primary, secondary, and high schools in the provincial area.

According to the assessment, many entries were written seriously, elaborately in diversified forms such as handwriting, illustration art, composing comics, poems, music, wall newspapers, flycam filming, etc. The formats of the presentation are beautiful, creative, diversified, and unique. Some articles carried beautiful and novel ideas, creating strong emotions and effects on readers.

Finishing the preliminary round of the “Reading Culture Ambassador” contest of Thua Thien Hue province in 2021, the organizing board selected the 30 most excellent articles to award individual prizes for grades level and the collective prizes to the two schools with the highest number of participants and the schools with lots of students winning high prizes. 20 best articles had been chosen to attend the national final round in Ha Noi, which brought to Thua Thien Hue 3 individual consolation prizes.
