Tuoi Tre Newspaper awarded "Tiep Suc Den Truong" (Supporting Students to School) scholarships to 91 new students in difficult circumstances
TTH.VN - On the afternoon of October 9, at Thanh Nien Guest House, Tuoi Tre newspaper coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to organize the "Tiep Suc Den Truong" scholarship awarding ceremony for 91 new students with difficult circumstances from Thua Thien Hue (82 new students) and Quang Ngai (9 new students).

This is the fourth award in the 2024 "Tiep Suc Den Truong" scholarship program for new students under the 593rd "Vi Ngay Mai Phat Trien” (For Tomorrow's Development) program of Tuoi Tre newspaper.
The total cost of the program is over 1.5 billion VND, sponsored by the Thua Thien Hue “Tiep Suc Den Truong” Club, Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company, and Do Thanh Automobile Joint Stock Company. Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash.
In addition, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for new students, Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company sponsored 2 laptops for new students with special difficulties who lack learning equipment.
The Thua Thien Hue “Tiep Suc Den Truong” Club is a gathering place for people far from home and those who love their homeland Hue wishing to return to support, accompany and light the fire for young people with difficult circumstances in their hometown. The “Tiep Suc Den Truong” program has gone through 21 years with “22 seasons of overcoming difficulties with new students”. With the spirit of those who come first helping those who come after; it has created profound human values for the “Tiep Suc Den Truong” program in Thua Thien Hue.
20 years ago, from the first 6 new students from Thua Thien Hue with difficult circumstances who were supported, up to now, the Thua Thien Hue "Tiep Suc Den Truong" Club has supported 1,524 new students with a total scholarship of more than 15 billion VND. In addition to supporting scholarships, many members of the Club also adopt, support living expenses, transportation, jobs, and so on for new students living far from home.
The Tuoi Tre Newspaper's "Tiep Suc Den Truong" program was launched in 2003 with 27 scholarships awarded for the first time to new students with especially difficult circumstances. 2024 is the 21st year that Tuoi Tre Newspaper has coordinated with 63 provincial and municipal youth unions to continue to award scholarships to more than 1,100 new students with difficult circumstances nationwide with a total budget of more than 20 billion VND (15 million VND/1 scholarship and 20 special scholarships of 50 million VND/4 school years).
