Updating new knowledge on hematology and blood transfusion
TTH.VN - From 23rd to 24th of November, The National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, Hue Central Hospital in cooperation with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a continuous medical education on blood transfusion for 136 physicians and doctors specialized in blood transfusion hematology from hospitals in the Central and Central Highlands.
The training program welcomed Prof. David Roxby and Chris Hogan, as well as Dr. Nguyen Pham from Flinders University and Roxal Melbourne Hospital. Those are the leading hematology and blood transfusion experts in Australia to participate in and spend their time updating on and exchanging knowledge of various topics and content related to blood transfusion and hematology with participants.

With each thematic topic, the content was analyzed and discussed on the implementation of technical practice. There were a number of specialized topics such as total cell analysis and myelography; flow cytometry; platelet production solutions according to GMP standard of Presenius Kabi ... which will be useful in the emergency cases and treatment of patients in the hospital nowadays.
This is one of many continuous medical education programs organized by Hue Central Hospital in 2018, in order to direct activities at different levels. On this occasion, participants were awarded the certificate of professional training in blood transfusion and hematology by Hue Central Hospital.
