The hypothetical situation was that AB Co. Ltd. discovered that they had lost the radioactive source. After that, the individuals in charge reported the incident to the relevant authorities. During the investigational process, the authorities discovered that Cs 137 radioactive source was in a scrap company, the source was disrupted and in danger of being irradiated….
At the drill
On behalf of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s leader, Mr. Nguyen Tan Khai - Director of the Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety appreciated the collaboration of relevant authorities in solving the situation; and noted the enhancement of communication mission to relieve people’s anxiety and panic in case of incident and to ensure security work to prevent bad elements from taking advantage.
