Hue City calls for human resources to participate in COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control

Accordingly, Hue City sent an official letter to the people who are retired medical workers, population collaborators, private health forces in Hue city; to Health Department and Health Center of the city; as well as to People's Committees of wards and communes of Hue City, wishing them to participate in the prevention of COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the leaders of Hue City, confronting with the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic due to new variants with high transmission and rapid spread in the community, medical workers in the whole sector have been working hard together with the whole country to make a determination to prevent and fight the pandemic.

Amid the increasing wave of people returning from pandemic-hit provinces and cities in the South, many concentrated isolation areas of the province, the city, together with the ones of the districts, wards and communes have been set up for medical isolation for thousands of people. The number of medical personnel mobilized for these medical facilities is very large; reserve human resources to be ready to be mobilized for pandemic prevention and control are decreasing and at risk of shortage.

It is said that in the coming time, the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic may become even more complicated, with the top goal of ensuring the safety of people's health, Hue City calls on the people who are retired medical workers, population collaborators, private health forces in the city subjecting the requirement of good health, being experienced, voluntary and enthusiastic to participate in the pandemic prevention and control activities of the area; join hands to support the fight against the pandemic, advise and directly care for and treat patients.
