Hue team wins many high prizes at the National Junior Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Championship 2019
TTH.VN - More than 300 wrestlers from 18 provinces, cities and sectors across the country competed at the National Junior Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Championship 2019, which took place from June 29th to July 5th in Ha Nam province.

At the tournament, wrestlers competed at 120 sets of medals through weight categories: 55kg, 60kg, 63kg, 67kg, and 72kg, among which, Thua Thien Hue team had 7 wrestlers to compete at men’s and women’s freestyle wrestling.
After 1 week of competition, the wrestlers of Hue Ancient Capital won 5 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 7 bronze medals, and ranked 3rd for the women’s freestyle content with both age ranges of 18-20 and 16-17.
Among the 5 gold medals, apart from wrestler My Linh, who won 2 golds, wrestlers Pham Thi Hang, Pham Phuoc Rin and My Trang won 1 gold medal each.
According to Coach Dinh Van Kien, this was a successful season and at the same time marked a considerable progress of the junior wrestlers of Thua Thien Hue province because in this tournament last year, the team only won 1 gold medal and 2 bronze medals.
