Ideas to protect and restore aquatic resources after the marine environmental incident

To prepare for the upcoming final round of the Provincial Innovation Startup Competition 2024, on September 30, the Department of Science and Technology held a training session for representatives of 15 ideas and projects competing in the final round of this competition.

On September 16, the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Innovative Startup Competition 2024 held the semi-final judging round, following the preliminary screening of submitted applications.

Responding to the World Environment Day (June 5) with the theme “Solution for Plastic Waste”, the International Day of Biodiversity and the Month of Action for the Environment 2023, on the morning of June 4, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phu Loc district, Thach Son Fisheries Association (Loc Dien, Phu Loc), etc., to release 80.000 fingerlings of tiger prawns and over 14.000 rabbitfishes into the Da Dam and Da Mieu fisheries conservation areas belonging to Tam Giang – Cau Hai Lagoon.

On May 28, World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam) coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Startup and Innovation Center held a final round of the contest “Hue plastic waste reduction initiatives 2023”.

According to the People's Committee of Hue City, the city will invest more than 26 billion VND in 2023 to restore and embellish four communal houses in the city area, in order to preserve and promote the values of historical and cultural relics.
