New Year Countdown festival in the pedestrian quarter

The Olympic Day Run for public health and the 26th provincial Traditional marathon tournament took place on the morning of March 18 at the square of Ngo Mon Gate with the participation of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha and more than 2,000 attendees from 19 units in the province.

According to the Provincial People’s Committee, in 2018 Thua Thien Hue expects to attract about 10-15 foreign investment projects with total registered capital of about USD 400 million.

At the regular press conference and meeting with the press on the afternoon of February 5, Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised press agencies in the area which over the past time have accompanied the province and contributed to the process of socio-economic development and ensuring defense and security of the locality.

According to the Plan No.9 of the Provincial People’s Committee on deploying the national target program for sustainable poverty reduction in 2018, the whole province strives for reducing the poor household rate down to 4.92% from 5.98%.
