Promoting application of technology 4.0 for socio-economic development in Hue

Recently, Thua Thien Hue has promoted the application of science and technology in operation management with the development of smart urban services. Many sectors and fields have also invested in applying science and technology to production and operation management.

At the seminar, the participants highlighted the role and responsibility of the science and technology intellectual team in the Industry 4.0, proposing the development trends under Industry 4.0, the models of urban executive management on platform 4.0 and the application of some softwares in agriculture, healthcare and education.

According to Prof. Tran Huu Dang, Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, in the 4.0 era, it is required to catch in time and effectively take advantage of opportunities to improve labor productivity, efficiency, competitiveness of the economy and effectiveness of social management through researching, transfering and strongly applying the achievements of Industry 4.0. At the same time, the intellectual team needs to be fully and correctly aware of the nature of Industry 4.0 to renew thinking and action, considering it a breakthrough solution with appropriate steps and roadmaps.
