Thua Thien Hue and Champasak have many significant activities

On behalf of the delegation, Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee of Champasak province, Mr. Nu Chan Chan Tha Phong presents a donation to support the people in Thua Thien Hue province.

At the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Thanh Ha affirmed that over the recent time, there had been many activities bearing the imprint of the "Vietnam-Laos Friendship Year" and the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Laos. One of the most prominent activities is that the Party, authorities and people of Thua Thien Hue province have held and participated in the "Studying the history of special relations between Vietnam and Laos" contest.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Thanh Ha shared that the Party, authorities and people of the province were deeply grateful for the support and sharing of the Party, authorities and people of Champasak province before the damages caused by the recent floods in Thua Thien Hue; thanked Champasak for always creating favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese living and working in Laos. He also hoped that the relationship would continue to be promoted and last forever.

*After the meeting with Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Thanh Ha, Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee of Champasak province, Mr. Nu Chan Chan Tha Phong and the delegates had a working session with the Provincial Party Inspection Committee and the Provincial Inspectorate of Thua Thien Hue, which was chaired by Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Mr. Phan Van Quang.

At the working session, the two sides informed and shared the socio-economic development of each province; affirmed the good traditional friendship relations between the two provinces; the results of cooperation on education, health, culture, sports, and employment; activities of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee and the Provincial Inspectorate; the results of the implementation of the coordination regulations on the inspection and examination between the two sides.
