Translate information technology into a decisive economic sector of the province
TTH.VN - On July 23, 2019, the Provincial People’s Committee held a press conference to inform about the series of the information technology events and the promoting agricultural production conferences.

Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho said that this is the opportunity for the province to affirm its determination to reap the benefits of technology information (IT) differently in order to substantially boost the IT development and translate it into an important economic sector of the locality. Thereby, the province can call on the local enterprises and experts to accompany it to implement that determination, for the benefits of the stakeholders.
It is expected that the series of IT events taking place in Hue will begin with the IT investment promotion conference and the announcement of the implementation of smart operation center on July 25.
On July 26, the national e-Government conference, a leading forum will occur. Here senior leaders and technology experts will have an opportunity to discuss the investment policies and the comprehensive IT development solutions in order to promote the development of e-Government and help the Government enhance the operation and management capacity of the country.
Also, from July 28 to July 30, Hue city will hold a conference on promoting agricultural production. According to the organizing committee, the conference will be a face-to-face meeting between the investors and organizations to jointly support the cooperation, and to connect the individuals, the enterprises, and the agricultural cooperatives. The conference also evaluates the implementation of the agriculture restructuring project, analyze the potentials, good points, limitations and shortcomings. Thereby, the conference will propose the agriculture development orientation in the near future.
