Brilliant lotus flowers in early summer

Inspired by the phoenix (“Linh phung” in Vietnamese), a symbol of eternal grace and happiness, the 12 ao dai collections showcased at the recent “Linh phung” Ao dai Festival have left deep impressions and emotions in the hearts of the public and audience.

The appellation Maypaperflower is now quite familiar to many paper flower lovers, not only in Hue but also in many provinces and cities at home and abroad. To bring paper flowers to many world countries, Phan Ngoc Hieu has overcome a journey full of hardships and challenges. Talking with Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, this young girl shared an energetic story about her dream of bringing paper flowers to the West.

These days, lotus flowers are blooming profusely in the Imperial City, along the streets, and in the suburbs of Hue, bringing it a peaceful and gentle beauty. Lotus flowers have always been closely connected to the people of Hue. Wherever visitors travel in Hue, they will encounter lotus ponds and lakes.

From researching the topic to participate in the Provincial Science-Technology Contest for High School Students, a group of students from Dang Tran Con Senior High School made tea bags from rose myrtle flowers, a unique product from the local raw material sources.

Nguyen Ha, a teacher in Kien Giang province, takes a trip to Hue every summer. He visits Hue with family, with friends, or his school. He has often chosen Hue as a destination because he believes that Hue always remains attractive to tourists. Every time he comes to Hue, he discovers more of its hidden yet seductive charm.
