Hue is well-known for two seasons: a season of dazzling sunshine and a melancholy raining season. Not many people notice that there is also a sweet and romantic Autumn in Hue.

To bring radiant colors of autumn into your home, you do not need to pay too much and be fussy, as it just requires a little subtlety, small changes in decorative accessories, or the addition of green plants, in-season flowers and fruits.

At the boat parking lot at Chuon Lagoon, golden sunlight dyed a lagoon corner. “What beautiful Autumn days! Oh, my goodness, how mixed my emotion is!” shouted a friend of mine amid the airy space. The group laughed, despite the wind messing their hair.

The romantic songs about Autumn brought the audience participating in the artistic program “Autumn’s colors” as if they were lost in the poetic scene with love stories and innocent, adorable, and sweet memories.

Though not as bright and passionate as lotus flowers in the summer, lotus flowers in the autumn seem to be showing a gentle and romantic look.

Those who have visited Hue without experiencing the Hue rain are considered to be missing out on the full Hue experience. Autumn in Hue not only has dreamy light golden sun rays but also has sudden torrential rains with a poetic translucent silver color.

Traditional lanterns which were thought to be extinct are now revived in an extremely impressive way. They help the public partly figure out how exciting and unique the Mid-Autumn Festival was in the past. Apart from that, they are part of the Vietnamese identity and values.

In the early autumn days, some purple flamboyant trees bloom on the streets and parks, giving passers-by a sense of pleasure. While purple flamboyants in Da Lat thrive and flower after the Lunar New Year days; Hue purple flamboyants, around July-August or September, depending on each tree.

On September 9, the Provincial Stamp Association coordinated with the Provincial Post Office to open the Postage Stamp Exhibition in response to the Four Seasons Festival 2022 with the theme “Vietnam, the Country & its People”.

On the afternoon of September 6, the People's Committee of Hue City held this activity at Thuong Bac Park and downtown streets.
