Another bear has just been rescued in Hai Duong Province by the Animals Asia Foundation (AAF), and brought to the Vietnam Bear Rescue Center II at Bach Ma National Park (Phu Loc District).

After more than a day of transportation, the two bears rescued in Hanoi were brought to Vietnam Bear Rescue Center II at Bach Ma National Park on the afternoon of October 3. These are also the first two bears received by this center.

Along with Bach Ho Bridge, which is a railroad bridge, and Thao Long Bridge, with the architectural structure of a bridge at the top and a dam below to prevent salinity at the bottom, there is a total of seven bridges over the Huong River, namely Truong Tien Bridge, Phu Xuan Bridge, Da Vien Bridge, Tuan Bridge, and Dinh Market Bridge.

“Reunion with Vietnam” is the theme of a photo exhibition of Thomas Billhardt, a German photographer, which takes place from the afternoon of May 19 to 26 at Lan Vien Co Tich 2 – an intercultural meeting place (Bach Dang St., Hue City).

Bach Ma is not a discovery tourism destination well-known in Vietnam but at present, it also becomes an attractive choice for athletes whose passions are long-distance running with rugged terrain.

“Standing here, you can capture the panoramic view of Hai Van pass, Tuy Van mountain, Cau Hai lagoon and even the magical light of Hue city…” - that was the smooth introduction of an author when he checked-in at Hai Vong Station on the top of Bach Ma mountain. After a temporary closure to repair the route from the foot of the mountain to its top, Bach Ma National Park has welcomed back visitors.

While Ba Trai and Hop Hai springs bring fresh and cool feelings, Vung Thung, one of the springs of the magnificent Bach Ma mountain is attractive with the huge and clear natural “swimming pool”, which is suitable for tourists in love with swimming.

More than 1,000 tourists have returned to Bach Ma National Park (NP) after a long period of closure because the path to the top in this eco-tourism area was eroded and seriously damaged.

Mr. Nguyen Vu Linh, Director of Bach Ma National Park, confirmed this information on September 1.

On the morning of May 27, the Forest Protection Department, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) organized the ceremony to introduce the project ‘the Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre - Branch II’ at Bach Ma National Park.
