With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). After winning the 2024 Road to Olympia Championship, on the afternoon of October 14, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Math, class 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, returned to school in a warm welcome from teachers, friends and family.

In the final round of the 24th “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title being “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was live broadcast on the morning of October 13, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a representative of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the laurel wreath.

After 12 years of studying, researching, and working abroad, in 2022, Dr. Ho Ngoc Han, the champion of “Đường lên đỉnh Olympia 2009” (Road to Olympia), chose to return to Huế to serve his homeland.

The 2024 National Sambo Club Championship, co-organized by the Administration of Sports and Physical Training (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in Nam Dinh Province, closed on May 27. Shortly after its establishment in early 2023, the Thua Thien Hue Vovinam team came as a big surprise and was a breath of fresh air for Vietnam Vovinam at the 29th National Vovinam Championship.

The 1st National Student Taekwondo Championship will be held right on Hue land, scheduled from March 24 to 28, by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training. The championship especially has both movement and advanced systems. This is the first time the championship has been held on a national scale, and Hue is the first host province

Vietnamese wrestlers grabbed big wins again at the SEA Games 32. Contributing to the achievements of wrestling had the merit of sisters Nguyen Thi My Hanh and Nguyen Thi My Trang from Quang Dien when together they successfully defended the championship won at the SEA Games 31.
