The exhibition just opened on the afternoon of June 9 at Thiệu Phương royal garden, inside the Imperial Citadel.

QR code scanning systems installed at relic sites

Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just completed the installation of a QR code scanning system at the entrances to the Imperial Citadel and the tombs of Emperor Minh Mang, Tu Duc, and Khai Dinh in an effort to employ safety measures for the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 1776, in the work “Phu Bien Tap Luc”, Le Quy Don described the land of Thuan Hoa as follows: "The inner and outer walls are built several thuoc thick (1 thuoc = 0.4m), using lime and porcelain pieces to create images of dragons, phoenixes, unicorns, tigers, flowers and grass". What he described is the mosaic art of the time of the Nguyen Lords. The pinnacle of this art form is reflected in the interior architecture of Emperor Khai Dinh's Mausoleum (Ung Mausoleum).

GWS Auctions, a company specializing in auctioning antique jewelry, cars and royal items in Agoura Hills, California (USA), listed the sword for bid with a starting price of $5,000. The listing attracted more than 2,000 online visits.

Hue Monuments Conservation Center has just coordinated with the Nguyễn Phúc Tộc Executive Council to organize an incense offering ceremony for the 476th death anniversary of Emperor Triệu tổ Tĩnh and 256th death anniversary of the Emperor Thế tông (who is more commonly known as Lord Nguyễn Phúc Khoát) on June 29th (the 20th day of the 5th lunar month).
