On the morning of January 1, at Ngo Mon Gate - Hue Imperial Citadel, the Provincial People's Committee organized the announcement of Hue Festival 2023 with the first activity being the re-enactment of the Nguyen Dynasty Ban calendar distribution ceremony.

On the morning of December 20, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened an e-ticket system and XR virtual reality experience service in the Imperial Citadel.

Just a stone’s throw from the Citadel, the Gia Hoi old quarter used to be one of the busiest areas of Hue ancient capital in early 19th century. This invaluable heritage is being ruined day by day with time while how to conserve and promote it is still a big question.

According to the organizing committee, the program "Winter in Hue" will take place at 20:00 on December 3 at the Tay Khuyet Dai stage (on the Nguyen Thien Thuat - Le Huan route). This activity aims to create a highlight, contributing to increase the excitement, and serving the needs of visitors and locals to enjoy the culture and art at the Royal Citadel Night Street.

Though not as bright and passionate as lotus flowers in the summer, lotus flowers in the autumn seem to be showing a gentle and romantic look.

A group of authors namely Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung (from Faculty of Architecture - University of Sciences, Hue University) was honored with the First prize in the “Southern Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh (Upper surface of the Citadel rampart) landscape design” contest.

On the evening of September 9, the Organizing Committee of Hue Royal Citadel Night Street, the Center for Conservation of Hue Monuments, and Hue Royal Traditional Art Theater organized the program "Lighting up the lights on moonlit night".

On the evening of June 25, at the stage in front of Ngu Phung Tower (Imperial Citadel), Hue Festival Week 2022 officially opened with a special art program.

The hot air balloon festival “Hue Ancient Capital seen from the sky” in the series of events of Hue Festival Week 2022 has just been opened on the morning of June 25 at Ham Nghi yard, opposite Quoc Tu Giam, inside the Hue Citadel.
