Among the top 10 records for Asian culinary dishes and specialties this year, Thua Thien Hue has two records recognised as Asian records, which are mussel rice (com hen), a culinary dish, and sesame candy (me xung), a local specialty.

The awarding ceremony was held on the night of December 2, in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of guests and locals involving in creating the artwork. The Map of Vietnam made by BOARC art style set the record with the largest number of participants from the Northern, Central, and Southern regions.
