Doctor (Dr.) Nguyen Viet Quang Hien (born in 1987), Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation A - Hue Central Hospital is one of 65 nationwide familiar faces honored to receive the Award of "Youth living a beautiful life" in 2021 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

“Our Hue is inherently beautiful. With just a bit of tidying up, no other places can compare.” I’m of the same mind and quite in agreement with that comment by Mr. Nguyen Dac Xuan in a talk with him.

In the early days of the New Year 2022, a purple flower carpet, which is beautiful and poetic just like in fairy tales, is attracting many young Hue people to check in.

Hue has entered the season of mist. It is when walking on the Truong Tien bridge, one suddenly recognizes the city is wrapped in soft floating mist. One stands on the bridge, looking at the river full of milky mist, hearing the sounds of fishermen paddling. Mist lingers among trees and grass in the verdant parks. It is as if the whole city were slowing down and it looks so beautiful like a painting.

In recent years, Hue has become a venue for many filmmakers. In addition to the famous landmarks, there are many other potentially beautiful places which are appealing to moviegoers. Cinema becomes an effective channel for promoting the landscape and heritage of Hue.

In 2015, Dang Tien, a critic, wrote me that he had just found a painting of the Perfume river by Bauchaud, a French artist, in 1902. The beautiful painting vividly depicted women from the market waiting to get on the boat by the Perfume river. The painting later appeared on the cover of the special issue of the Song Huong Magazine (Perfume River Magazine) in March 2015.
