After the joy when the project for Thuan An Bridge and the coastal road has just commenced, Hue people are currently excitedly awaiting the project for Nguyen Hoang Street and the bridge over the Huong River – a vital project not only contributing to the beautification of Hue City but also ushering in a new turning point to foster the provincial socio-economic development.

This message was emphasized by Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports when sharing on the afternoon of August 18th at the forum “Digital transformation - Promoting the strength of culture and heritage - creating momentum for developing a digital economy” within the framework of Provincial Digital Transformation Week 2022.

After 5 days of running, “The country’s fair in the festival” responding to Hue Festival 2022 in Thanh Toan tiled-roof Bridge (Thuy Thanh Commune – Huong Thuy Town) ended on the evening of June 30 with the promise of coming back in Hue Festival 2024.

The establishment of the Provincial Culinary Culture Association aims to preserve and honor the values of culinary culture ​​of Hue in particular and of Vietnam in general.

This investment project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in August 2021. The investor is the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (in the implementation phase of the project).

Following exciting activities and experiences, the “Country’s Fair and Festival – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge in 2022” closed on the night of February 25, with special art performances and the Ao Dai fashion show.

“The country’s fair and festivals – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge” in 2022 officially kicked off in the morning of February 22, with various attractive offers. The opening ceremony had the attendance of provincial leader representatives and a large number of local people and tourists.

An art show called "Khai xuân chợ quê ngày hội". (Spring Opening of the Country’s Fair and Festival) took place at Thanh Toan Farm Tools Gallery, of the Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge community tourist attraction (Thuy Thanh commune - Huong Thuy town) on the night of February 21.

I was invited to take a ‘Green Hue’ sightseeing trip. Standing on Gia Vien bridge and look northwards on a sunny day, I saw River Huong was supported with different colors: yellow of the Golden Shower tree, scarlet of the Flamboyant, velvet of the crape-myrtle, blue of the sky and green of water. It made me think of a picture of happiness and well-being in the deep memory of more than thirty years: Sinh paintings.

Hue has entered the season of mist. It is when walking on the Truong Tien bridge, one suddenly recognizes the city is wrapped in soft floating mist. One stands on the bridge, looking at the river full of milky mist, hearing the sounds of fishermen paddling. Mist lingers among trees and grass in the verdant parks. It is as if the whole city were slowing down and it looks so beautiful like a painting.
