On the morning of August 22, Hai Van International Transport Joint Venture Company - Hue branch (Hai Van Company) held a press conference to introduce bus routes from the center of Hue city to Phu Bai International Airport and vice versa. This service is expected to be put into pilot operation from August 27.

On July 21st, a training conference was held to foster legal knowledge on business activities in Vietnam in the field of tourism and to discuss the implementation of support policies and regulations in the tourism industry.

That was the theme of the international conference held by the University of Tourism – Hue University in collaboration with Africa and Middle East Research Institute on the morning of July 14. Attending the conference were the leaders of departments, units, and businesses in the provincial area.

It was the result announced on May 25th at the conference to announce the 2021 Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX) and the 2021 Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS).

"Looking at the picture of cancer, many people find it very dark. But for me, it's different; I see this picture lighting up every time. That message was given by Prof. Nguyen Chan Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Cancer Society at the Annual Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control - Hue 2021. And that "picture" is being decorated by the Oncology Center (Hue Central Hospital) with brighter andvivid colors.

This was the topic discussed at the conference titled "Development potential and conservation orientation of Hue yellow apricot varieties" organized by the Department of Science and Technology at Duyet Thi Duong Theater in the Citadel on the morning of February 10.

On November 24, 2021, H.E. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam delivered an important speech "Striving to foster, preserve and promote quintessence of the progressive Vietnamese culture richly imbued with national identity" at the National Cultural Conference to implement the 13th National Party Congress’ Resolution.

On the morning of December 27, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology established a consulting conference to assign the Center for Flowers and Ornamentals Research and Development, the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute to carry out a scientific thesis at provincial level on “Research on Conservation and development of Hue’s yellow apricot blossom (Hue royal apricot)".

On December 22, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh visited and delivered Christmas and New Year 2022 greetings at the Catholic Archdiocese of Hue. He also delivered wishes to Archbishop Joseph Nguyen Chi Linh of Catholic Archdiocese of Hue, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam. Accompanied Deputy P.M. Pham Binh Minh were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong and leaders of central ministries and branches.

Recently, although not many, the number of conferences and events has been organized, offering accommodation establishments a certain source of income. This is seen as a "salvation" for the year-end accommodation establishments.
