On the afternoon of August 15, the Enterprise Development Foundation - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and the Provincial Business Association, in collaboration with Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company (ACTIV), organized a workshop on “Traceability: Intellectual property protection for enterprises and key products of Thua Thien Hue Province”.

According to experts, the number of tourists choosing golf tourism products is growing rapidly, illustrating the potential for developing this industry. Hue is making efforts to call for investment, while at the same time, deploying many solutions to attract high-end tourists of this category.

The close tourism cooperation with ASEAN+3 countries is bringing many positive signals for the national tourism industry. For Thua Thien Hue, the tourism sector needs to find ways to exploit and develop this international tourist market to create a major breakthrough.

On the afternoon of August 1st, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held a conference to review and approve the results of the provincial science and technology project "Establishing, managing, and developing a certification mark (CM) for “Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge village market” of Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy town, led by the Office of Culture and Information of Huong Thuy Town.

On July 20th, the provincial Red Cross Society, Oxfam in Vietnam, and the New Zealand Embassy in Hanoi organized a summary workshop for the project “Post-COVID-19 livelihood recovery for female farmers in particularly difficult and for difficult communes in Thua Thien Hue.” The event was attended by Ms. Caroline Rachel Beresford, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.

On July 19th, the Provincial Urban Development and Investment Management Board held a seminar to announce the 1/2000 scale subdivision planning project for Thanh Tien ecological urban area (EUA).

On July 17, within the framework of a working trip to Thua Thien Hue province, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province, led by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, the Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) and worked with the Department of Information and Communication of Thua Thien Hue on digital transformation and smart urban development.
