Taking place from October 23 to November 26, the online contest to learn about the Hue-S digital platform is organized by the Department of Information and Communications with the desire to contribute to improving digital skills and promoting the development of digital society and digital economy of the province.

To reach sustainable tourism development, running towards green tourism is indispensable. Thua Thien Hue has special strengths of cultural, historical, and landscape, as well as environmental resources to develop tourism; and, carrying out cooperation to develop green tourism is one of the goals.

Journeys in Hue (JiH) is a group of young enthusiasts dedicated to promoting Hue through social media, viewing it “through the lens of Hue people”. The above goal was proposed and discussed by experts at the conference "UNESCO Creative Cities Network and the ability to transform cultural resources in Hue" organized by the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts coordinated with the Institute for Development Studies of Thua Thien Hue province on the morning of September 22 in Hue city.

On the afternoon of September 22, within the framework of the Hue Innovation Day 2023 Forum, the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies collaborated with the Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies to organize a scientific workshop entitled “Thua Thien Hue - A distinctive cultural heritage city of Vietnam, sustainable development through green growth, and adaptation to climate change.”

With the target of facilitating the formation acceleration of coastal urban areas for the local socioeconomic and tourism development, the project of coastal road through Thua Thien Hue Province and bridge across Thuan An Estuary (Hue City) is being sped up by the investor in site clearance and construction progress.
