History books of Nguyen Dynasty record that after ascending the throne in 1802, Emperor Gia Long established the medicine agency to serve the court. However, it was not until the reign of Emperor Minh Mang that the structure of Thai Y Vien (Imperial Medicine Institute) was gradually completed. From then on, the recruitment of personnel to Thai Y Vien was extremely tight and serious.

The Provincial People's Committee has recently issued Decision No. 950/QĐ-UBND, granting a license to establish and recognize the charter of the Hue Bookcase Development Fund, aiming to create a stable source of funding for publishing activities to build and develop the Hue Bookcase.

The Central Coast Museum of Nature (henceforth the Museum) was established in 2009, and its specimen display space was officially open to the public in 2020. That the preservation warehouse and the display system are all reused from the renovated old building, so it is not suitable for the museum's function, and although the equipment has been invested, it still does not meet the requirements of preserving artifacts. Those are the situation that Hue Fine Arts Museum - a public museum established nearly 5 years ago, is facing. The concern for the safety of the artifacts and the desire to have a well-preserved warehouse are always the concerns of the unit's leaders.

The Decree clearly states that the Hue Heritage Conservation Fund is a national fund established by the Government and assigned to Thua Thien - Hue province to directly manage, in order to mobilize resources to invest in the restoration, conservation, and development of Hue heritage value and investment in works and items that have not been funded by the state budget or allocated insufficient funds.

Artist Phan Hai Bang, a co-founder of the art of Truc Chi, has been honored with the Lebadang Art Foundation Award. This is one of the awards established in accordance with the will of the late talented artist Le Ba Dang.

The Union of Arts and Literature Associations and Hue Children's House have just launched an art club called “Nhanh co non” or “the young palm leaves”, to foster children's art movement in Hue city.

General Nguyen Chi Thanh's family is completing procedural paperwork to apply for permission to establish the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum in Thua Thien Hue.
