How to make Truc Chi (Bamboo Thread) present in all Vietnamese houses has been the dream of Phan Hai Bang, Ngo Dinh Bao Vi and their partners in the very beginning. Their dream is materializing when Truc Chi can be found now in almost all provinces and big cities in Vietnam.

The exhibition will introduce to the public the works by the musician Trinh Cong Son, including the portraits of the poet Bui Giang, the actor Pham Linh Dan, his Japanese friend Michiko and the musician's relatives. These paintings were composed over the years using various materials, such as oil paints, pastels, charcoal...

Ideas materialized. Books have been gathered into collections and are on display and more are coming.

In a house at the end of a small alley on Pham Thi Lien Street, Le Phan Quoc is diligently finishing the paintings “Gateway to Dien Tho Palace” and “Hue Features” with Vietnamese lacquer. For him, Rhus Succedanea lacquer (hence forth, R.S. lacquer) has always had a strange attraction because it brings subtle and profound characteristics to a painting that no other material does.

Wooden dragon shoes, rings, bracelets, necklaces... are the fashion lines of Fashion4Freedom (F4F) - a social enterprise in Hue City in the sphere of non-profit activities. It is not widely known that this hard material makes hundreds of high-class fashion works present on 4 continents worldwide.

Most of the works were painted with acrylic materials and oil paints under the themes of landscape, heritage architecture, people, seasons, lifestyle, and the cultural and spiritual life of Hue.

The exhibition introduces 30 works with various materials such as lacquer, canvas, and paper in the collection of Rei Artspace as well as some works borrowed from other collectors.

Among Hue's key products, medicinal pharmaceutical products from indigenous materials are judged as having economic and environmental prospects, as well as being suitable for the trend of science and technology development. This is also the connecting thread between entrepreneurs to form high-value pharmaceutical products, meeting the practical needs of people.

On the afternoon of August 15, an exhibition with dozens of “sculpture” works of breeds with all materials from wood, ceramic, bronze, and iron... has just been opened to the audience at the Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery (120 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen, Hue City).

This activity is organized by Hue city Center of Culture, Information and Sports on the morning of June 17 to celebrate the Hue four-seasons Festival 2022 and contribute more materials to build the brandname “Hue - The capital of Ao dai Vietnam”.
