In the framework of Hue Digital Transformation Week 2023 – “Creating digital data – promoting regional connectivity” held by the Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with the Vietnam Software & IT Services Association (VINASA), the opening ceremony of the exhibition featuring typical digital technology platforms and solutions took place on the morning of December 14 at Song Huong Theater.

Since the opening of Terminal 2 at Phu Bai International Airport in April 2023, Thua Thien Hue has been able to operate international routes, though primarily in the form of charter flights. On the morning of March 7, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with the Mekong Institute (MI) to organize a seminar on "Smart and sustainable tourism in Thua Thien Hue Province".

In order to research, evaluate the current situation and propose solutions to develop tourism products associated with craft villages, on the afternoon of December 27, the Provincial Institute for Research and Development held a workshop on “Solutions to develop tourism associated with craft villages and replicate the model to be applied to Thua Thien Hue”.

Continuing the forum “Hue - Creativity for Sustainable Development” in 2022 held by the Provincial Research and Development Institute, on the afternoon of December 16, the international forum “Developing Smart Urban for Thua Thien Hue” offered solutions for Thua Thien Hue to develop sustainably in the direction of a smart urban.

Through the seminar, the program offered a support package integrating many cutting-edge solutions, making the process of business management and operation of tourism enterprises simple and fast.
