When visiting A Nam village in Hong Van commune, A Luoi district, tourists will have the chance to admire the only longhouse built with the traditional style of the Pa Co people. In 2014, the longhouse was constructed thanks to the advocacy of weaving artisan Quynh Quyen, a villager of A Nam, and it has since become a symbol of solidarity among the villagers.

Recently, luxury travelers and the ultra-rich have shown increased interest in Vietnam as a travel destination; and, Thua Thien Hue is among the locations catching their attention. Beyond its natural beauty, high-quality services are a top priority to attract these affluent tourists.

In the bright picture of Vietnam’s tourism which has made a strong recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue tourism shows positive signs in terms of strong growth in the number of international visitors and expanding the market of international tourists.

Thua Thien Hue, along with Da Nang and Quang Nam, are strengthening cooperation to boost tourism between Vietnam and Australia, particularly by connecting the Australian tourist market with Central Vietnam. By enhancing promotion and advertising of the “Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage” tourism brand in Australia, the goal is to attract visitors from this significant potential market to Central Vietnam in general, and to Hue in particular.

On the afternoon of September 19, the Provincial Tourism Association, in collaboration with Vietnam Tourism Association, organized a conference themed “Promoting, advertising, and connecting Hue tourism in 2024”.

During 2 days, from September 18 to 19, about 70 travel businesses and travel associations nationwide came to Hue to participate in the Hue famtrip program titled “Ancient Capital – New Experiences season 3” to visit, survey, and assess the tours and tourism destinations in Hue.

A Biah Hill, a.k.a Hamburger Hill, or Hill 937 is one of two historical destinations in the A Luoi highlands. The higher you climb towards the top of the hill, the narrower and more desolate the road becomes. Yet, this place still has a strange attraction for tourists, especially veterans from both within and outside the country. Many elderly visitors have to cut trees to make walking sticks, conquering more than 850 steps over 1.5km long to reach the summit.

The closing ceremony marked the termination of the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, yet it also signaled the beginning of a series of events for the autumn and winter seasons, reflecting the enduring spirit of the Hue Festival 2024.

The 'Revolution Express' train journey will depart daily between Da Nang and Hue city, following its scheduled opening in December 2024 or January 2025. This journey will offer travelers an experience of majestic landscapes along the Hai Van Pass, with a stop at Lang Co station - a place renowned for its lagoon scenery and stunning beaches.

Having formed over thousands of years, the ancient wells in Gio An have never run dry. The water from these wells is always cool and fresh, flowing year-round to serve the needs of local residents and becoming a highlight that attracts tourists.

Within the framework of the Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, the opening ceremony will be held for the first time at Kien Trung Palace. This is one of the important palaces in the Nguyen Dynasty's system of palaces. The Hue International Art Festival Week 2024 is scheduled to take place from June 7th to 12th.

May 2024 is also the 15th anniversary of Lang Co Bay being honored as the world's most beautiful bay. Over the past 15 years, with its brand, Lang Co has gradually attracted a large number of tourists to visit and relax, contributing to the province's tourism development.

The arrangement is to celebrate the Vesak 2568. The seven lotus flowers represent the seven first steps taken by the Buddha at his birth. They were first introduced in Huế during the 2008 United Nations Day of Vesak and maintained ever since as a symbol marking the arrival of Vesak.
