On the evening of November 15, the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest held the closing and awarding ceremony for the 14th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest - 2024, honoring the authors and groups of authors of the 63 winning entries.

On the afternoon of October 18th, the Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to summarize and present the 1st Hue Ancient Capital Women’s Creativity Award (2024) to 15 authors and group of authors who are the leaders of excellent works/groups of works of award-winning caliber.

The performance “Thien dia giao hoa” (Harmony of Heaven and Earth) and the orchestral and dance performance "Anh duong" (Sunlight) have won silver medals at the second phase of the 2024 National music and dance Festival, held in Binh Duong province.

After winning the 2024 Road to Olympia Championship, on the afternoon of October 14, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Math, class 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, returned to school in a warm welcome from teachers, friends and family.

On the morning of September 18, the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Arts Awards (2018 – 2023) was held at the Cultural and Cinema Center of Thua Thien Hue Province.

Vietnam has continued to be named as “Asia’s Leading Destination”, “Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination in 2024”, and “Asia’s Leading Natural Destination in 2024”, together with many other prestigious awards.

On the day I arrived at the far-off Hong Thuy Commune of the A Luoi border district, I saw the image of a Pa Co woman busily “hunting” goby in a winding stream in the mountain and forest.

Thuy Xuan hill area, Hue city is famous for ancient pagodas such as Tu Hieu, Dong Thuyen, Bao Lam, Chau Lam, Dieu Nghiem, etc. Being lost in the clouds and wind with many rows of pine trees rustling on these hillsides in the early morning or at dusk, and listening to the sound of temple bells ringing in the wind and the steady sound of wooden bell echoing from the pagodas make my heart strangely calm and peaceful.

In the winter, near-shore fishing boats head out to catch seafood. The fishing boats push off at 5am, and dock in the afternoon on the same day, with the expectation of many people.
