On the morning of November 17, Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with Hue City Center of Culture, Information and Sports, and Club of Book and Hue Culture held a program “Hue people tell stories about Hue”, featuring an exchange with writer and journalist Phi Tan, the researcher Le Vu Truong Giang on the occasion of launching the book “Hue people tell stories about Hue” and “Students over the Tam Giang Lagoon”.

In the space of Hue French Institute at No.1 Le Hong Phong Str, the famous French fiction writer Bernard Werber had an exchange with the readers of the ancient capital and introduced two of his favorite works: “Ant Trilogy” and “Pandora’s Box”.

The Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations organized a program to award and honor writers and artists on the morning of December 27th 2023 to honor writers and artists who have won international, domestic, regional, annual awards of the Union of Arts and Literature Associations, or other prestigious national awards.

While the article about the book "Echoes of the Truong Son" (Thuan Hoa Publishing House, 2023) was being prepared when I included it in the collection of essays "Life's Many Paths" (Writers Association Publishing House, 2023), from Ho Chi Minh City, Mrs. Dam Thu continuously sent touching feedback to Hue about the work that she had just "poured her efforts" into completing.

A large number of literature lovers in Hue and surrounding provinces has had an emotional afternoon as they listened to Tran Thuy Mai, a writer, sharing about her historical novels about the Nguyen dynasty recently.

The event included many activities such as the exhibition of books and paintings themed "Hue - April sunshine", a publication design contest "life-changing books", talks, and an introduction of historical novels about the Nguyen dynasty by the writer Tran Thuy Mai. On this occasion, a number of publishers, and authors also donated books to the Provincial General Library.

The Vietnam Writers Association has just announced the 2022 Literary Prize for 5 authors and the Young Author Award for 3 authors. Le Vu Truong Giang was honored to win the Young Author Award in 2022 in the prose category with the book "Bac mau ao ngu" (Faded royal costumes).

Not only does the National Book Award honor good books but also highlight the role and enthusiasm of writers, translators, and book publishing companies.
