Many reading activities to be held at the provincial library

On the morning of April 19, at the Provincial General Library, the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023 was held with the participation of many book lovers and reading culture fans as well as book companies...

The event included many activities such as the exhibition of books and paintings themed "Hue - April sunshine", a publication design contest "life-changing books", talks, and an introduction of historical novels about the Nguyen dynasty by the writer Tran Thuy Mai. On this occasion, a number of publishers, and authors also donated books to the Provincial General Library.

According to Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Oanh - Director of the Provincial General Library, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023 was an important cultural event for the whole community in general and book lovers in particular. This is also an opportunity to honor the value of books and reinforce their position and significance in people’s life.
