The clock stroke midnight and the moment of transition between the old year of the Tiger and the New Year of the Cat was marked by a series of high-altitude, brilliant fireworks in the sky right at Ky Dai (Flag Tower), in front of Ngo Mon Gate.

The program “Tet holiday in Hue” 2023 held by Hue City will take place in 4 days, from 7:00 on January 14 to 17:00 on January 17 (from December 23 to 26, the Lunar Year of Tiger) at Ngo Mon Square (area adjacent to Quang Duc Gate), on 23/8 street and Le Huan street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue city.

Within the framework of Hue Festival 2022, Hue Nam Temple Festival will be held on April 2-3 (on March 2-3 of the Lunar Year of the Tiger) at 352 Chi Lang Holy Place and Hue Nam Temple (Huong Tho Commune, Hue City).

On the morning of March 16 (February 14 in the Year of the Tiger), Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the Xa Tac Ritual Ceremony at Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City), in order to pray for the nation's peace, good weather, bountiful crops, and people's well-being.

Tet (Lunar New Year) of Tiger 2022 is the second Tet that the spring sport activities cannot be organized because of COVID-19. And Hue people will probably recall the two big and typical folk sport activities to enjoy Tet, welcome spring.

On the morning of February 9, the Huyen Tran Temple Festival – the Year of Tiger 2022, was kicked off at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay Ward, Hue City) by the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports. This is an activity to welcome the Year of Tiger, and the first large-scale Festival in the series of activities and events of the “Four Seasons of Festivals” in 2022.

That information was informed by the representative of leaders from Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) – the project investor, on the occasion of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh visited and encouraged the team of management, contractors, and workers to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Tiger on the morning of February 8.

In the New Year of the Tiger, Mr. Tran Thanh Quang (Hue City) meticulously cut a tiger shape from green papaya and potato to make a five-tiger jam for guests.

From the 2nd to the 6th of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger, 2022, Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town) organizes a small-scale Bai Choi festival at the campus of the Commune's Farm Tool Display House.

On the night of January 28, the People’s Committee of A Luoi District held a program “A Da Koonh Festival Night”. This was one of the activities to celebrate the Party and The Year of Tiger 2022.
