On the afternoon of April 3, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted a courtesy reception for the US Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Marc E. Knapper. The courtesy reception was also attended by the representatives of leaders from relevant departments and branches.

On June 8, Hue Central Hospital shared that in a cooperation program with the SmileTrain charity organization (USA), the Odonto-Stomatology Center will provide comprehensive examination, consultation and reconstructive - cosmetic surgeries for children with cleft lip and cleft palate.

On March 10, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation between Thua Thien Hue province and Vietnam Airlines Cooperation (Vietnam Airlines) in the period of 2022 – 2026.
