A tea tray, a smoking pipe, and a set of Chinese books donated by Emperor Ham Nghi’s descendants have been officially gifted to Hue and Quang Trị. These items were handed over by the Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to representatives of Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province.

With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). After winning the 2024 Road to Olympia Championship, on the afternoon of October 14, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Math, class 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, returned to school in a warm welcome from teachers, friends and family.

In the final round of the 24th “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title being “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was live broadcast on the morning of October 13, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a representative of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the laurel wreath.

On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.

From October 3rd to 5th, the Department of Education and Training organized the provincial 12th Grade excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year at Quoc Hoc-Hue High School for the Gifted.

After undergoing a rigorous evaluation and quality assessment process, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted (Quoc Hoc) has officially joined the LabelFrancÉducation network (France), which includes 600 schools worldwide, several of which are in Vietnam.

On the morning of September 13, Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports, in collaboration with various units and donors, organized an event to give Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to 200 students in difficult circumstances in Hue City.

On the evening of July 13, the award ceremony of the 35th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) took place in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this Olympiad, Ho Duc Trung, a 12th-grade Biology student, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted clinched a silver medal.

At the 15th annual competition for excellent students from specialized high schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta region held in Hai Duong, students from Quoc Hoc – Hue High School for the Gifted won a total of 29 medals and awards. The closing ceremony and award presentation took place on the afternoon of July 17th.
