19 provinces and cities to participate in the conference “Tourism development in Central – Central Highland region”
TTH.VN - On the afternoon of February 12, the Provincial People’s Committee held a press conference to talk about the content and programs at the conference “Tourism development in Central – Central Highland region” which will be held from February 15 to 16 in Hue city.

Chairing the press conference was Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho.
The conference will witness the participation of 19 provinces and cities in the Central – Central Highland region (from Thanh Hoa to Ninh Thuan and 5 central highland provinces) with around 500 representatives, especially, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will chair the conference. The conference is held with the aim to analyze and evaluate the real situation, as well as the environment for investment and tourism development of the Central – Central Highland region basing on the scientific and practical data to propose mechanisms, policies and solutions for tourism development of the whole region.

There are many activities in the conference including The main conference “Tourism Development in the Central – Central Highland region (8:00 on February 16); the 2019 Briefing Conference of the Central Vietnam Key Economic Regional Council (16:00 on February 15); Gala Dinner with the theme “Hue – the Capital of Food” (18:30 on February 15); the exhibition of Thua Thien Hue province and the Central – Highlands provinces and cities which will be held on the sidelines of the conference, and the survey tour of key areas for tourism development and special tourist products.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho stresses that this is the national conference, being a good signal early in the year for Hue in particular and the Central – Central Highland region in general to petition to the Prime Minister for the stable and breakthrough policies for tourism development in the area in the future.
