Many young people are interested in the products at Lagom Market
All items sold in the fair are selected according to the green - clean - healthy criteria, including agricultural products, health care products, handicrafts, and the shopping bags to reduce the emergence of plastic in the kitchen.
At Lagom Market, customers can find environmentally friendly straws made of bamboo, glass, stainless steel; straw bags and straw cleaning brushes made by The Hue Thinkers. This is the product type aiming at young people and encouraging them to bring their own straws whenever they go to a coffee shop or the cafeteria to reduce the waste of plastic straws.
At the stall of Bear House, visitors can buy net bags for shopping, or baskets made of dwarf trees, the products from Can Tho. These products are similar to bamboo and rattan ones but have higher durability, and do not get moldy in the rainy season; therefore, users can use them for more than 5 years.
The market fair also introduces La nuts milk which is made from walnuts, cashews and almonds by La Nuts. The difference of these products is that they are sugar-free, and their sweetness comes from palm fruits. Loaves of small Litchi Pâté Bread or Butterfly Pea Flower Gimbap are also good choices for health-oriented foods.
Providing people with addresses, products to apply green - clean - healthy lifestyle is the desire of Lagom when organizing this market fair. Every stall that comes to Lagom has its own unique way of living the green lifestyle.
Manager of Lagom Home, Le Thi Hong Van said: “Since its inception, Lagom Home have been practicing activities to reduce waste and reduce its impact on the environment as little as possible. Normally, people go shopping with a lot of plastic bags; everyday using a lot of plastic. However, at Lagom Home, we go to market without using any plastic bags. Although it may not mean too much as compared to the amount of general waste, we are happy with this small action.”
Despite of the rain on the first day, people still came to the market quite crowded, especially young people and foreigners. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhuan expressed her excitement: “The fair is very interesting with many useful products. This is a destination of interest for those who practice a lifestyle that reduces its impact on the environment. I hope the next market fair will introduce to customers more products”.
