Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision on the recognition of Ngu My Thanh located in Quang Loi commune, and Bao La bamboo knitting village situated in Quang Phu commune (Quang Dien district) as community tourist sites.

Ngu My Thanh community tourist site in Ngu My Thanh village (Quang Loi commune, Quang Dien district) is 15km away from Hue City with convenient transportation for commuting. Coming to Ngu My Thanh, visitors can engage in many activities with the local people, experience water activities, including seeking clams with feet, trawling, harvesting, knitting nets, and fishing, or experiencing a day as a farmer with the people, and visiting the mangrove forest…

As for Bao La - Duc Nhuan village (located in Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district), it has also been recognized by the provincial People's Committee as a community tourist destination. This tourist site is 2 km eastward of Huong Tra town, and 12km away from Hue city. Bao La village is famous for its bamboo knitting craft. As the name implies, the products, such as baskets, sieves, and slats are all made of bamboo and rattan.
