Awarding the scholarships to students overcoming difficulties

This is the second round of scholarship awards in 2023 by the two organizations, i.e., Keidanren and JCCI, with 40 students receiving the scholarships. Previously, in March 2023, 20 students of Hue University had received the scholarships from these two organizations.

The scholarships are the motivation to help the students from disadvantaged backgrounds to strive harder in their studies and improving themselves; thereby, helping them learn more about Japan and the good relationships between the two countries in the recent times.

This scholarship awarding activity was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam.

This year, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam has organized many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. Thua Thien Hue province has organized many celebration events such as the "Vietnam - Japan Cultural Day in Thua Thien Hue province"; and the Kyoto Culture and Education Day in Hue, etc., in which Hue University has participated. Many connections and cooperation have been made with Japanese universities and educational organizations. Lecturers and students of Hue University have more and more opportunities to access study, teaching and research programs in Japan...
